50 Pinch Barrage!! is coming to the North American 3DS eShop this week, and it's bringing with it some truly deadly situations.
Boasting a simplistic visual style but some incredibly epic situations, 50 Pinch Barrage!! is all about cheating death by the skin of your teeth. The hook is that you're offered no hints or help in the game - you have to learn your way through a hostile environment packed with things that can kill you, using little more than trial and error. The game came out in Japan towards the end of last year.
It all looks pretty exciting, and the price point of $2.99 is well within impulse purchase territory. If you're interested by the concept then you can feast your eyeballs on some gameplay footage taken from the Japanese version below. Enjoy.

Cool concept
Kinda wish they animated the vines ala Pitfall/Jungle King
@GuitarAnthony
You probably should have watched the whole trailer.
This game looks great, love the concept.
America is getting a lot more crappy eShop games than Europe, not fair!! :f
Looks like great old school fun, looks well executed too.
Wow. Pitfall nostalgia. I'm in.
Reminds me of Jungle Hunt

"Muderouse piranhas"? What's a muderouse piranha?
Also, it reminds me a lot of Pitfall (Atari 2600).
I downloaded it from the Japanese eShop when it was released and I did manage to complete it and I gotta say it's an awesome game with comically grueling difficulty.. Hopefully it'll be released in Europe too and I'll buy it again..
I highly recommend it
I'm glad this embraces a low price because it definitely looks good at $2.99. As long as it's at least 2-3 hours of content for the average player, that would be a good value.
@Quorthon Didn't I? Thought I did. I'll check again.
Hey hey guys. I own the jap version of the game. Buy this game (not for casuals) if you want hard challenges. Don't look at the graphics. The ambiance, sounds,platform gameplay mechanics are so well done.
I repeat, this game is not for casual gamers at all.
PS: I finished it. Just one save available And you are not able to choose your stage but who cares.. There will be 4 3ds themes for this game.
@Spectra_Twilight most games we play are trial and error if you think about it. This game looks amazing and the concept is a very good one simple and straight forward. These developers have done their homework. it's been months since I last posted on any article on NL lol
Aww, this looks awesome
@GeminiSaint That could be a play on "mud", but "all you are your instincts"? That just sound wrong.
Game look very interesting, though.
@Quorthon I thought the same thing at first, all you had to do was watch another 20 seconds
Looks like pitfall. Me wants.
