SteamWorld Heist is out this week on the Wii U eShop, and is also coming to stores as the SteamWorld Collection. Quite a number of players have been waiting for the HD version, and now will have the chance to play it on Nintendo hardware.
The latest 'Engine Room' video from Image & Form talks about the Wii U and answers some viewer questions. One of the enquiries was whether the next game from the studio would be in the SteamWorld series, and the answer was an emphatic yes.
It's a good watch, as it's from Bergsala's rather awesome-looking Nintendo Museum; there's even an NX gag in there.
Are you pleased that there's more SteamWorld coming in the future? Let us know in the comments.

At first I thought Harry Potter was co-presenting the video. Cool backdrop for the video. Nintendo ruined the cover of this and Fast Racing Neo with the rotten Selects branding. How does one get into that museum? I'd be like a kid in a candy shop. The graphics in this game look really nice and sharp. I've no doubt the game will be great because SteamWorld Dig was fantastic.
Edit: Here's the SteamWorld Heist launch trailer for Wii U:

My copy just arrived in the post today, along with Fast Racing NEO and Valkyrie Drive. It'll probably be a little while before I start on Steamworld, currently working my way through Fable Anniversary Edition.
Definitely looking forwards to the next Steamworld title, whatever it may be.
Can't be arsed to watch a 10 min video. Can someone type what they're doing next?
I hope Nintendo does more of these for some more of there bigger games.
image and form games are all great! it obvious those guys love what they do and i look forward to what new gaming genre they will tackle with their next entry.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE - Hey top posting troll!
Well you managed to find something barely relevant to complain about. I don't think the "selects" branding is bad at all. I don't think it's awesome or amazing, but it's a fine branding.
I have the Windwaker Selects for Wii U and the Punch Out selects for Wii , and they look just fine.
More importantly, I love that this innovative developer is supporting Wii U. I really enjoyed Steamworld Dig, and I'll be checking Heist out as well.
Got my copy on Wednesday. Great game. Love the stuff that these guys create and can't wait to play more image and form games in the future.
I want that hat. Looking forward to the NA release.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
They're at Bergsala. It's on Marios' street 21. Guess you could visit whenever you're in the Gothenburg area...
@Action51 What an ironic troll response. All Selects branding is rotten.
@Mintendo Thank you.
Bergsala are pretty cool, they sent our studios a bunch of cool posters and cardboard displays because we called and said we'd like something to brighten up the place with.
Great video, I love Image&form team. So creative, beautiful and perfect. A great futur for them.
I love these guys lol got my copy already and looking forward too playing heist on the big screen.
I'll pick up heist digital, like I have already for dig and fast racing neo. Besides, that selects branding really is awful. Completely ruins the beautiful box art and looks cheap. These aren't bargain buy discount games, they are the best of the best on the e shop. They deserve more respect 😉
I dislike Bergsala because they have next to no real presence in the Nordics. If they really want to help Nordics Nintendo presence, then become Nintendo North Europe or give Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland and Denmark their own Nintendo Headquarters.
We are still missing things like Miitomo and in general Nintendo is not visible in pretty much any shops. Hopefully NX will be big and change that.
