Sunsoft's 'Ufouria: The Saga 2' Gets A New Trailer And A Physical Switch Release

This game looks so lovely. I still need to go back to Ufouria: The Saga on Wii U VC. Very cute and approachable platformer.

I wish they would include the first game on the cart too.

I suppose a future Sunsoft Evercade cart might include the first game, in which case, I'll be content with that, but given the Switch's popularity and the relative obscurity (and age) of the first game, would it kill them to throw in the original ROM?

I'm still waiting for them to release the first one.

It's nice to see Sunsoft continue to fight the good fight in a tough industry where there are many new games released every day. Makes me want to fire up Batman for the NES just for nostalgia.

U-four-ia 2: The Saga

I'm so excited for this game. It looks like such a lovely game, and its awesome to see an actual in-house Sunsoft project, and its looking like the usual masterpieces they made back in the NES days. Hopefully I can get a physical at some point, but if not I'm more than willing to pay over my usual purchasing limit for digital games of $20 for this

@Sisilly_G Or both Hebereke and U-four-ia? I don't recall how much is different, other than that two of the main characters are significantly changed.

Looking forward to this having thoroughly enjoyed playing through the first game via the Wii a few year back. It real hidden gem that I had never heard of at all way way back when when I had my NES.

I played the CRAP out of this game on the Wii, or was it Wii U? I can't remember. Anyway, I did. Found every secret. It's a weird, cool game. I'm stoked out of a sequel. I love that Sunsoft properties have been getting some love. Looks really good too.

Wow, am I dreaming? I knew Sunsoft had revived and was rereleasing their old games, but I never expected sequels. Ufouria is one of the best games on the NES and I am thrilled to see a sequel coming out. It looks to have the same charm and personality of the original too, so I have high hopes for this.

I feel weak and pathetic insta-pre-ordering a game based on its trailer being thrust before me like that, but when the game looks like it's closely related to a Good Feel Yoshi platformer I'm afraid I really have little say in the matter.

The original Ufouria is one of my absolute favorite NES games, so this is a very pleasant surprise!

‘Sunsoft is back’ is just music to my ears

This is cool, but I seem to remember a Switch release of the first Ufouria being announced around the time Gimmick was. Is that still going to happen?

Ufouria is one of my favourite games for the NES, so i had to preorder out of pure nostalgia. Don’t really like the looks of the Hebereke characters tough, and for me they’ll always be Bop-Louie, Freeon-Leon, Shades and Gil.

Don't feel too bad. I preordered the deluxe version for ps5. Paid a hefty fine for shipping too, as I'm in America. Watching the trailer a third time did me in.

Also, I think the text boxes look like fuse/perler beads. If that's what I'm seeing, that's pretty cool.
