The game, in this very first incarnation, involved bounding around...

Down in the well
Ah, the weekend. We've missed you, friend. Before we look at what we've got planned over the next couple of days, let's take a look back at this week, shall we? It's been a pretty big one, admittedly. For the first time, Nintendo itself has finally acknowledged the existence of the 'Switch 2' after the release of its latest...

UK Charts Princess Peach: Showtime Can't Usurp EA From Its Throne
FC 24 maintains its lead
It's a fairly busy week for the UK boxed charts, with several new entries making it into the top ten. First up, of course, is Princess Peach: Showtime! coming in at number three. A respectable debut, to be sure, though it wasn't enough to beat EA Sports FC 24 at number one and Capcom's new action RPG Dragon's Dogma II at...
Talking Point Should We Be Expecting More From Remakes And Remasters?
History in the making (of)
With Switch now into its eighth year and Nintendo's head chefs deep into software prep for the next console, remakes and remasters are the order of the day, with a platter of old favourites being served up in this twilight period for the current system. We got the excellent Super Mario RPG late last year and the Mario vs...

RPGee
We're back with the latest look at the UK charts and after seeing things get mixed up a little last time, normality has returned this week. There are no newbies in the top 40 this time around. Last week's surprise Switch hit Unicorn Overlord has seen a pretty substantial fall from 7th to 25th, while the previous gold medallist, WWE 2K24, has...
Japanese Charts Mario vs. Donkey Kong Drops To Second As Final Fantasy Makes A Splash
Back with a bang
This week's Japanese charts are now in from Famitsu (via Gematsu) and it is no surprise that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's debut has shaken things up a little. Cloud watching
The latest UK charts are in and it is no surprise who's sitting at the top spot this week. We predicted it, you predicted it, of course, this week's champ is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the PS5. Square Enix's latest managed to beat both EA Sports FC 24 and Hogwarts Legacy this time around (which is no mean feat) and it means that...

Unleash the minis
After its debut at number one last week, Mario vs. Donkey Kong has slipped down to third in the UK Boxed Charts, leaving EA Sports FC 24 and Hogwarts Legacy to take number one and two respectively. It's still a good showing for the plumber, however, with three Mario titles once again settling in nicely in the top ten. Elsewhere,...

The weekeeeeeeeeeeeend *cough cough, splutter*. Sorry. Yes, it's the weekend, which means it's time to kick back and relax with some games. First, let's recap what's been going on this week. So the big news is, of course, that we had a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, where the likes of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Epic Mickey:...

The past Mario vs. DK titles where fantastic. I hoped for a sequel and not a remake. And the announced full price rather let's me re-activate my GBA then buying this one.
Really a bummer for me. Not a big problem playing the game a third (sic!) time. But the price tag is just too much.
I played the previous Mario v donkey Kong with a stylus how do we play the Switch version?
